About Me

Nursing the world to health through evidence-informed policies.

I am a public health professional with more than eight years of combined experience in clinical nursing, health policy and systems research, and project and grant management. I am a young policy analyst working in the areas of TB and tobacco prevention and control, nursing practice, and human resources for health.

At present, I’m a Junior Technical Advisor for Tobacco Control at Vital Strategies, where I work closely with the Philippine Department of Health, local government units, and civil society groups to strengthen tobacco control and NCD prevention at the national and subnational levels. I also serve as the Western Pacific Regional Champion for Health Systems Global and Chair of the Publications Committee of the Philippine Nurses Association.

I was born and raised in Aparri, Cagayan. In 2011, I graduated as high school class valedictorian at Saint Paul School of Aparri. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Master of Arts in Health Policy Studies (Health Science) from the University of the Philippines Manila in 2015 and 2023, respectively.
